About the event
The 5k will begin at 7:30am and the 1 mile will begin at 8:30 am.Â
This event is part of the Kansas Wheat Festival.Â
Both races will be held at the Wellington Kanokla office, 404 N Washington Ave. Walkers are welcome! T-shirts will be guaranteed to those who pre-register by June 30, 2023. Packets can be picked up at the Wellington Kanokla office on Friday, July 14th from 8am-530pm or on race day beginning at 6:30am. Finisher medals will be awarded to all participants and trophies given to the top male and top female in the 5k. Post-race refreshments will be provided for both races and there will be 1 aid station at the halfway point for the 5k.
Sponsorship/run proceeds will go toward connecting students with scholarship and towards our youth robotics programs.
